This notice covers the tayavo.com website and the free Tayavo sandbox. It explains what we collect, why, who receives it, and your choices. Tayavo is run by [company name], [address], California ("Tayavo", "we").

Dealers who use Tayavo to run their business sign a separate agreement. The data a dealer keeps in Tayavo about its own customers and staff is covered by that agreement and the dealer's own privacy notice, not this one.

What we collect

What you type in the "Try it free" form: your name, dealership name, work email, phone number (optional), number of rooftops, your role, and your OK to be contacted.
What you do in your sandbox: sign-ins, pages opened and changes made, so the sandbox works and we can fix problems. The sandbox holds only made-up sample data. Please don't put real customer or employee information in it.
Technical details: your internet address, browser type and the time of each visit, kept in our servers' logs.
Emails you send us.

We don't use advertising trackers, sell or share your information for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Why we use it

To create your sandbox and email you its link.
To answer your questions and, if you agreed, follow up by email or phone about Tayavo. We never send automated texts.
To keep the website and sandbox secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems.
To meet legal obligations.

Who receives it

Only the service providers that help us run the website, each bound to use it only for us:

Hosting: Render (United States).
Email delivery: [email service].
Form handling, if used: [Formspree].
Fonts: Google Fonts, which receives your internet address when the page loads its fonts.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or with a buyer if Tayavo is sold, under this same notice.

How long we keep it

Sandboxes and what you did in them are deleted 14 days after they're created. Form details and emails are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.

Your choices and California rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. California residents also have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to correct and delete it, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we don't sell or share it), and not to be treated differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email privacy@tayavo.com. We'll confirm it's you by replying to the email address we have on file, and answer within 45 days.

Security

We protect information with encryption in transit and when stored, limited staff access, and two-step sign-in. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.

Children

Tayavo is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be announced on this page before they take effect.
